In this episode, I’m chatting with Paula Buls, a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker in Austin, TX. She has extensive experience working with the LGBTQ community and was a founding member of the Transgender Education Network of Texas. She’s also an out and proud trans woman.
We talk about her childhood and transition, trans pride and visibility, and gender as a beautiful expression of who we are. Paula is really passionate about what she does and toward the end, we get into a great conversation about challenging the stereotypes that keep people in boxes. We also talk about Ellen (yes, that Ellen) and Laura Jane Grace from Against Me.

There will be one or two more new episodes in 2017 and then Transgressive will be back with new content in spring or summer of 2018. Thanks for listening and please continue to share the podcast with your friends and loved ones!
